Let It Snow!

I've already removed these not to long ago, I'm gonna get that manicure tomorrow. FINALLY! :)
How I achieved:

  1. I used Beauty Secrets Base Coat
  2. Two coats of Sinful Colors 'See You Soon'.
  3. Konad image plate m59, I used both snowflakes. I used OPI 'Pearl Of Wisdom' (I looked it up online, I basically used a regualr standard white. Mine is a sample from OPI and I forgot the name), OPI 'Dreaming Of Red' and Finger Paints 'Key To My Art'.
  4. On top I used Seche Vite to complete the nails.
I don't celebrate Christmas but after working at Michaels', the carols playing on the radio get to your consciousness and haunt your dreams.. Ha.. I love snow, I once expierenced snow fall in Lake Tahoe, UT one year; they were actual snow flakes.. :)

Golden Cheetah.

This nail was about a week and a half ago: Sorry for the late-ness.

I usually don't do weird, funky colors or huge 3D nails. The most I go with 3D is sticker rhinestones and that's what I used this time around.
It took me forever to get a good shot. Please excuse the nasty cuticles. Yeesh!
I began with my regular base coat. I guess I'll explain details since I've got a lot of time to kill. :)

  • I started using a base coat a few months ago because I realized majority of my entire nail polish collection are staining my nails. I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and grabbed a generic base coat and the biggest size so I won't be making so many trips. This is the one I use, it's a 2.5fl oz:

  • I think out of all the animal print in the world zebra, tiger and cheetah are my top 3, not in particular order.
How I achieved:

  1. Beauty Secrets Base Coat
  2. Finger Paints 'Key To My Art', two coats.
  3. Konad Image plate m57 with OPI 'Visions Of Sugarplum'. I think that's a limited edition for the holidays. My sister got it last year. I'm not sure if they're continuing it.
  4. Just on the ring finger, I put sticker rhinestones that I cut individually from a set I bought at Walgreens. I carefully placed them in the middle of the cheetah design.
  5. Topped it off with Seche Vite top coat.
Konad Image stamping and plates...ARE AMAZING. I always use m57.. It was the first one I got and it's the pretty much the only one I use... I have more image plates but m57 is my GOTO.
I got the scraper, the generic one with the one sided silicone pick up/stamper.

Weezer Concert!

November 29, 2010 I went to the San Francisco's Weezer concert. Absolutley amazing, words cannot describe how happy I was and how they performed. After the concert ended my brother put on their songs, it was weird listening to their recorded songs after hearing them live. They're those kind of bands that sound better live, hands down.
For the night I quickly, without thinking straight, painted my nails Weezer themed. I did not apply a base coat so when I remove these tonight they will be stained. :(
1) I used Hot Topic's neon green, for 'The Green Album'.
2) I used Ulta's nail laquer in 'Candy Apple' for 'The Red Album'.
3) I used LA Colors' 'Static Electricity' for 'The Blue Album'.
4) With a dotting tool, I roughly made Weezer's logo with OPI's 'Black Onyx' and on top I took a mixture of OPI's 'Lucrene-taintly Look Marvelous' and Sinful Colors' 'Out Of This World' to make the logo more defined.
5) I painted a coat of 'Black Onyx' and on top 'Lucrene-tainly Look Marvelous' for 'Make Believe'.
6) To make everything picture perfect, I quickly coated my nails with Seche Vite top coat.

:)
